Skylar Rains (b. 1998, New Orleans, LA) is an interdisciplinary artist and fabricator based in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts in 2017 and received her BFA in Sculpture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021.

Rains is the founder of FANGS Productions, a creative studio specializing in fabrication, sculpture, tech solutions, and creative production. Through FANGS, she develops custom fabricated sculptures, installations, printed works, and independent projects that move between digital design and physical production.

Her personal studio practice explores fragmentation, pattern, and psychological landscapes through sculptural relief and illustrated work, including her ongoing Specimen Series and zine publications.

Her work has been featured on a digital billboard in Times Square through Visual Art Journal (2026) and published in Visual Art Journal, Volume 25 (2025). She has exhibited nationally, including RAM Gallery (Summit, NJ), Summit Public Art (Summit, NJ), B-Complex (Atlanta, GA), and SCAD Sculpture Studio (Atlanta, GA).

Rains has also contributed to large-scale fabrication and installation projects across the United States. Her background includes CNC machining, mold making, metal and wood fabrication, public art, and sculptural installation through collaborations with fabrication studios and artists.
